Before starting law school, Chananel spent the summer in Israel and changed his life direction – instead spending the next six years studying at Aish Jerusalem.
Chananel lives in Boston with his wife Michelle (originally from London) and two children.
After visiting Aish Ha Torah, he decided to stay indefinitely until he “had the capability to make a difference in the world.” After three years at Indiana University, Seth and his wife Lisa moved to Pittsburgh where they run learning programs and Shabbat experiences, organize trips to Israel, support pro-Israel activities, and serve as a home-away-from-home for Jewish students.
Seth's motto: Take responsibility for your growth in a way that inspires you to pass it on.
Chananel is known for his outgoing personality, encouraging people to ask and get their questions answered.
