Problem 9: You have Activ Client installed on your computer, but do not use your CAC reader that often AND you are tired of the annoying message that pops up telling you you do not have a CAC reader plugged in.
Solution 9: Follow the guidance in this guide to disable the message.
Windows 7 (64 bit) users who have the IO Gear GSR-202 CAC reader [and are having problems with the reader not staying in device manager after the computer is restarted] should Install the driver from IOGear then restart the computer to fix the problem.
