This file needs to be placed on the USB stick which will then be attached to the Blu-ray player, but the player will be finicky about the condition of the USB device.
The filesystem on the USB stick must be FAT16 – the player will not read FAT32.
Click on "My Computer." Your flash drive will be listed as "Removable Disk." Right-click your flash drive and click on "Properties" from the drop-down menu.
Select the "Policies" tab and click on "Optimize for Performance." Click "OK."Plug your FAT32-formatted flash drive into an available USB port on your computer.
I tried a DVD, I tried 3 CD's burned from 2 different computers, I waited for 5 minutes, I waited for 5 hours. So I used my work computer that is running XP and it worked perfectly.
So if you are burning the disk from a vista computer I don't think it will work.
